Gringa Dairy

My hand drawn lettering for a start up diary making Mexican cheese in Peckham. Wanting to be known as an ‘urban dairy’ the lettering was inspired by mexican local shop signs. These were often brightly coloured, hand painted, directly onto walls. They have exuberance as they try to out do one another as they compete for attention. Rather like the graffiti we have in our cities.

Commissioned by Atelier works for all the Gringa Diary packaging, their market stall and promotional work. It was later picked up by Selfridges and used in their flagship Oxford Street store window during their food month promotion.
